Applying a Serum
Applying a serum is easy! First, spritz or otherwise dampen your freshly washed face. Then give the airless serum bottle 3-4 squirts in the palm of your hand, rub your hands together, and spread the serum over your face. It absorbs immediately and goes to work on the lower layers of skin where it can do the most good hydrating, promoting collagen production, and fighting free radical cells.
GreenSky offers three serums, Lumina for mature skin, Klearskin for acne-prone skin, and Gage for men, all of which contain an ample amount of CBD, hyaluronic acid, peptides, organic oils, vitamins, and other key nutrients.
Applying a Moisturizer
Wait a minute or two after applying your serum to let it sink in, then apply your moisturizer in the same way, first moistening your face, then squirting the cream into the palm of your hand. If you are spot treating, take some cream on the tip of your finger and put a dab here and there where you need it most, and then rub it in. If moisturizing the whole face, rub your palms together and spread in on in a fashion similar to washing—it’s faster that way. Be gentle and use upward motions to rub it in.
GreenSky offers three creams, Oasis for mature skin, KlearSkin for acne-prone skin, and Gage for men, all of which contain an ample amount of CBD, hyaluronic acid, peptides, organic oils, vitamins, and other key nutrients.
Applying a Body Oil
The best time to apply a body oil is after a bath or shower. Don’t towel completely dry. The body oil will trap the moisture on your skin and use it to moisturize in addition to its usual role as a rich source of vitamins, nutrients, and antioxidants. Oils reinforce the lipid barrier and help protect the skin from external factors like sun, smoke, and pollution.
GreenSky has one body oil, Argana, that is kind of magical in that it absorbs so quickly without an oily residue and leaves the skin feeling wonderfully smooth and soft. With 500mg of active CBD, Argana is no slouch when it comes to more demanding things like inflammation, skin irritation, and sore and aching muscles. It also serves as a powerful antioxidant, fighting free radical cells and curbing the damage they cause to the skin.
Applying a Skin Balm
A skin balm or oil is designed to help the skin recover from troublesome conditions such as extremely dry skin, red skin, inflamed skin, rashes, itch, and even more serious conditions like eczema and psoriasis. Normally you’re spot treating a specific area. Apply the skin balm generously and let it soak in. Skin balm oils penetrate quickly and deeply to treat conditions originating in the deepest layers of the skin or even the joints of the hands or feet. A waxy balm might be better for soothing a skin rash but watch out for skin balms with camphor. Camphor is toxic if it enters the bloodstream and is not suitable to broken or damaged skin or cuts and contusions.
GreenSky has one skin balm, Restore, formulated much like Argana but with 1000mg of active CBD. Restore can be purchased from most of the resellers on our Reseller Page.
